Plans and implements projects to complete deployments of new Telecom PBX systems, Adjunct systems (IVRU/Call Recording/Avaya CMS/CTI) hardware and software upgrades and monitoring of the systems and application servers environment. Reviews and establishes network requirements to provide necessary server network infrastructure for the organization. Administers and maintains organization’s Telecommunications environment. Diagnoses, identifies, researches and resolves problems associated with Avaya PBX; Voicemail; network trunking; Avaya CMA; MS2004/2007 IVRU; Intervoice IVRU; Verint Call Recording systems; Avaya Vectoring language; CTI systems; VOIP and SIP technologies and software; Cisco network switches; IP addressing; server hardware, OS, and application software.
Skills/Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Systems Engineering or equivalent exp.
* 5-7 years related network administration experience
* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within all levels of the organization
* Solid understanding of networking concepts and project management skills
* Required to wear a pager 24 x 7; Occasionally work nights and/or weekend hours for major implementations to minimize impact on organization
