Mark Carbrey

Chief Information Officer

Mark Carbrey became chief information officer of ATX following its acquisition by Cross Country Automotive Services in September 2008 (he holds the same role with CCAS). At ATX, he has accountability for global IT business solutions, system development and architecture. Carbrey has more than 26 years of software engineering experience.

Since joining Cross Country in 2004, Carbrey has been responsible for guiding the renovation of its applications portfolio, modernization of technical infrastructure, and deployment of technology to accommodate business growth and expansion.

Prior to CCAS, Carbrey held various assignments as chief technical officer at Monster Worldwide in support of Global Consumer Products and Global Information Services, and was chief technology officer and chief operating officer of the Monster Directional Marketing division. He was also previously a co-founder of two technology startups (including Web Technology Partners, which was acquired by Monster Worldwide) and was managing partner and practice leader at US Web/CKS.

Carbrey holds a bachelor of sciences degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in computer science. He has been a faculty member at Northeastern University (Mass.) since 1994. Additionally, Carbrey is also a team captain for the North Shore Medical Center Cancer Center in Peabody, Mass.
