Steve Millstein Senior Advisor

Steve Millstein is senior advisor to the office of the president and CEO, providing ongoing advice and counsel on industry trends and strategic growth. Millstein was previously president of Cross Country Automotive Services and president of ATX, Cross Country’s telematics division.

Prior to Cross Country Automotive Services’ acquisition of ATX in September 2008, Millstein served as president, chief operating officer and a member of the Board of Directors of ATX since August 1999, following the company’s acquisition of Protection One Mobile Services Group, a telematics services company. He was promoted to chief executive officer of ATX in June 2000.

Millstein joined ATX as president and chief operating officer, and was named a member of the Board of Directors in August 1999, following the company’s acquisition of Protection One Mobile Services Group, a telematics services company. He was promoted to chief executive officer of ATX in June 2000.

Prior to the acquisition by ATX, Millstein had been president of Protection One Mobile Services Group since November 1997.

Millstein has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the telecommunications industry, holding management positions in marketing, sales, finance and government affairs at AT&T and Southwestern Bell. In 1987, he was vice president of marketing for Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems. In 1990, he was responsible for marketing to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company’s large business customers.

Millstein holds a juris doctorate degree from the Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kan., and a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science from the University of Kansas.
