ATX Group, Inc. Contributes Over $50,000 to Local Organizations

DALLAS-FORT WORTH, Texas, December 15, 2005 — ATX Group, the world's second largest provider of telematics services to automobile manufacturers, provides assistance daily to drivers who connect with the ATX response center through their in-car telematics systems during roadside emergencies. Continuing its commitment to providing aid on and off the road, the ATX Social Responsibility Committee awarded over $50,000 in financial contributions and donated items to organizations throughout Dallas/Fort Worth as part of its trans-Atlantic giving program in 2005.

"Reaching out to the communities in which we work and live is a passionate commitment of the employees of ATX," President and CEO of ATX Steve Millstein said. "We are proud to partner with organizations who also strive to better the lives of those around them."

ATX focused its contributions in 2005 primarily on programs that work to provide brighter futures for youths. Recipient organizations, such as SpiritHorse Therapeutic Riding Center, Children's Medical Center, Injury Prevention Center of Greater Dallas, the American Red Cross and the Dallas Independent School District (DISD), were nominated by employees and other business partners as organizations committed to enriching the community.

In addition to the financial grants awarded, ATX also donated over $30,000 of computer equipment to the technology department of DISD that were distributed to underprivileged families attending DISD schools. ATX also contributed $3,500 worth of retired cellular phone equipment to The Women's Shelter to ensure victims of domestic violence, who seek assistance from the shelter, have the means to reach emergency responders during a crisis.
