Reinhard Thomann Senior Director of Systems Operations

Reinhard Thomann became senior director of Systems Operations at ATX Europe in May 2006. He was previously a software developer and project manager at Vodafone Passo, the predecessor of ATX Europe, since 1999.

Thomann worked from 1981 to 1986 for Thyssen Krupp. He was responsible for the development and operation of a CAD system for plant design purposes. Between 1986 and 1997, he worked for software development companies in the development of CAD systems for mechanical design and for automatic data exchange between various CAD systems.

Thomann's telematics career began in 1997 at CARDY in Mönchengladbach, which was later integrated into Mannesmann Autocom. The focus of this task was the development of fleet software.

Thomann studied mathematics and physics at Münster University (Germany).
