Software Engineer

Assists in research and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems.

Skills/Experience

• B.S. in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work exp; Siebel certified 7.x, 8.x highly preferred
• Ability to work/working knowledge in Siebel 8
• 5 years of Siebel development/configuration experience with versions 7.x, 8.x.; Exp with Siebel Analytics
• Experience and expertise should include Siebel Call Center application, eScript, java script, Workflow development, Siebel Web Services, EAI, EIM, Smart Scripts, data model extension, Siebel Data Bean, CTI, configuration best practices, COM, business service development, batch and synchronous/asynchronous real time interfaces and system integration, inbound/outbound communication, performance analysis and turning, enterprise architecture, presentation/business/data layer understanding, Siebel components, and new features of 8.x.
• 2 years of application integration and middleware experience – preferably MQSeries is a plus
• Working knowledge of relational databases (DB2 a plus), and object oriented programming languages
• Knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis, design and programming activities
• Excellent technical analysis, planning and problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Personal leadership skills with successful track record of leading team to accomplish difficult objectives
