Gary Wallace Vice President, Corporate Relations and Chief Privacy Officer

Gary Wallace has been vice president of Corporate Relations and chief privacy officer for ATX since joining the company in 1999. He is responsible for corporate communications and government affairs programs.

Prior to ATX, Wallace oversaw marketing communications, research and advertising for Protection One Mobile Services Group, a telematics services provider; earlier, he held management positions in media relations, advertising and environmental affairs with Western Resources, Inc. (now Westar Energy), a publicly traded diversified energy company.

Prior to that, he was a government/business reporter and editor for 10 years at several major newspapers in the Northern Rockies and the Pacific Northwest.

Wallace is a member of the Advisory Group to the Intelligent Transportation Systems Caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials in the U.S. and Canada, and the German-American Business Council.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Utah.
