Putting real power – and a real person – at the driver’s side is what Destination Download is all about. A powerful voice interface system, augmented by a live response specialist when necessary, enables the owner to verbally search the Internet for Points of Interest, which can then be directly downloaded to the vehicle.
The driver searches the Internet for points of interest using a powerful voice interface system. The system (which is backed up by a specially trained Response Specialist to key in the search words in the event the recognition confidence is low) then accesses a search engine to bring up the most applicable results. After the choices are played, the driver makes a selection and then has the option to send the information to the vehicle for navigation. Web portal searches performed at home are also downloadable to the vehicle.
