Geofence
Drivers stay in the know about their vehicle’s location with Agero Geofence. Geofence lets vehicle owners place a virtual "fence" around a predetermined driving area to monitor vehicle movement. If a vehicle crosses its designated boundary, the owner is notified by email, text or automated phone message. Drivers remain secure in the knowledge that their car is where it should be — and they receive a timely alert if it isn’t.
With Geofence, drivers can:
- Create a security perimeter around a home, office building, restaurant, city street, airport parking lot or other geographic location
- Quickly take action the minute a vehicle breaks its preset borders
- Track vehicle use by others – for example, parents monitoring their teenagers
Geofence is completely customer configurable.
It can be programmed to cover areas like neighborhoods or schools for extended periods of time. Or it can provide short-term security while shopping or dining out. Perimeters and alert preferences are set via a web portal. Drivers receive alerts indicating that a boundary has been breached. It’s simple, reliable and effective.
